Author (Dubstep)

Tectonic release the self-titled album by Author, the brainchild of Leeds based dubstep producers Jack Sparrow and Ruckspin.

It may be a new name on the scene, yet the producer duo that constitutes Author are certainly no newbies in their own right. Both Ruckspin and Jack Sparrow have established themselves as highly gifted and hardworking producers, dedicated to engineering optimum quality sounds. Following their first collaboration, 'Dread', which was included on 'Get Darker Presents This is Dubstep 2011', they formed Author as a shared project.

Great progressive band that I made some art for. The tracks are lengthy and high quality. All the instruments are played by one person. Check it out!

Akira

One of the defining moments in the history of Japanese anime came in 1988 with the release of Akira. It pushed the envelope of what animated an movie could become with attention to detail in creating a realistic world only imagined previously.

A large color palette allowed animators to produce the highly detailed backgrounds of a post-apocalyptic Neo-Tokyo and bring the manga’s characters created by Katsuhiro Otomo to life. Combined with a high frame rate delivering a fast-paced energy to the film, it made Akira a technological achievement in the days before computer-assisted animation was available.

Minecraft

Minecraft is a sandbox construction game created by Markus 'Notch' Persson. The game involves players creating and destroying various types of blocks in a three dimensional environment. The player takes an avatar that can destroy or create blocks, forming fantastic structures, creations and artwork across the various multiplayer servers in multiple game modes.

It is also a game of survival, along with creativity. At night, monsters come out, and you must build a house, and craft tools to survive the night. All the Monster Mobs are creepers, zombies, spiders, skeletons, slime and endermans. The mobs in the nether, which is hell in Minecraft, are zombie pigmen, and ghasts. There are also animals in the game. Pigs, sheep, cows, wolves, and chickens. In the new update, there is a new animal called Mooshroom. A Mooshroom is a red cow that carries mushrooms. For all of the mobs and monsters, search them on Google Images and I guarantee you'll find many pictures of each one.
